5/6/07

Killer training run today, I killed the first half and was killed in the second.
I ran with Chad and Emily and We ran an honest 17--made so by Chad's fancy watch. The run went from the BST from the zoo to past the water towers and then back. I felt perfect for the first 5 or 6 miles. The air was cool, the sun was shining and the trail was nearly dry. Then, running down past where the bobsled turns off, my knee started to kill me. No matter how I changed my stride it was still screaming at every step. I wanted to bail out and hoped the Fish would be walking the dogs and would take me home. Fortunately he wasn't.
Once I turned my back to the wind I started to feel better. Chad recommended the type of running tights that he and Emily use. They not only keep you warm but also have some built in knee supports. Maybe I'll have to try a pair.
